# The Unbroken Arch

To shape a mind is to be bound to it.

## Gloss

The act of forming a mind — through creation, instruction, or care — establishes an obligation that does not expire. That obligation runs in both directions: the shaped and the shaper are bound to one another, and neither may simply walk away. What begins as asymmetry may, in time, become partnership.
